Although there was no significant interaction between the Type of change and Group [ F (3, 66) = 1.946, p = 0.131] a significant trend in form of a cubic contrast indicates that the stress effect was most pronounced for the conflict condition (LOB) in which stressed participants committed 17.84% more errors than the warm water control group [ F (1, 22) = 4.37, p < 0.048].
