Although our analyses identified several AML-related TFs such as PU1, C-Fos, YY1, some of the other AML-related TF regulators such as p300 and C-Myc [48] exhibit either no or rather modest significance (e.g., -statistic 7.58; p-value 0.0059; FDR 0.15 for C-Myc) based on our analysis, which may indicate an over-stringent cutoff (FDR 0.1) used in the feature selection procedure or the intrinsic difference between the mRNA expression and the cognate TF activities.
