The results, found in the present study, are quite significant and portray a clear picture that though bioremediation is a widely accepted technology for tannery effluents, scope of ameliorating them by providing additional supply of essential nutrients may be worked out for their use in irrigational water for better plant growth and ultimately a safe environment.
