SCID mice bearing orthotopic melanoma (WM113/6-4L) cells treated with neoadjuvant sunitinib (60 mg/kg for 14 days) led to a trend of reduced tumor size and weight following surgical resection but yielded a trend of worsened post-surgical survival (Supplementary Fig S2A–C, both did not reach statistical significance).
