In bivariate correlations, we found correlation coefficients of similar magnitude and direction in both healthy controls (Pearson’s r = −0.16) and patients (Pearson’s r = −0.15), which, however, did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.14 and p = 0.09, respectively).
