Of the 19 questions we included in the final PRE tool, 11 showed statistical significance in separating known invasive from non-invasive species, four were the result of merging two similar questions, where both were significant or near significant (e.g., different methods of vegetative reproduction, various biotic and abiotic propagule dispersal mechanisms), one was the result of merging four similar questions (human-mediated propagule dispersal) that were significant or nearly significant ( S1 Table ).
