studied 47 patients with MTBI and found that although patients in the complicated group took significantly longer to return to work (36 days vs 6 days), they showed a trend toward lower scores on scales measuring post-concussion and depression symptoms, and they were not more likely to meet ICD-10 criteria for post-concussion disorder[ 3 ].
