Furthermore, in this study, the cases with decreased Bax expression from primary tumors to the corresponding metastases showed a more infiltrative growth pattern, more distant metastases, and a weak trend toward poor prognosis, indicating the involvement of Bax expression in tumor differentiation and metastatic progression.
