Although similar trends were observed for naive and switched memory B cell populations in young adult SPF-2 and adult non-SPF macaques, these differences did not reach statistical significance (p > 0.05); likely the result of the low animal numbers (n = 8) and the overall younger age of adult SPF-2 (6 to 10 years) compared to non-SPF adult macaques (12 to 20 years).
