Subgroup analysis RFA mode Subgroup analysis according to the RFA mode (monopolar, n=17; bipolar, n=29, Table 1 ) revealed a better necrotic rate in the bipolar group, which was nearly statistically significant (92.8% vs 81.25%, n=26/28 vs 13/16, P =0.06), with a slightly lower recurrence rate (35.7% vs 37.5%, n=10/28 vs 6/16); however, six of the ten (60%) patients among the bipolar group were treated with RFA again, with four complete responses (66.7%).
