The focus is no longer only on credit for investment in microenterprises (Ledgerwood 2013 ), but there is a strong trend to innovations which have led to a combination of microfinance with non-financial services, including business training (Dunford 2002 ; Valdivia et al. 2008 ) which is an education aspect.
