Although not reaching significance across all eye movement measures, there is a clear trend for increased processing times in the atypical condition when the antecedent is near, but in the typical condition when the antecedent is far from its anaphor (indeed, reading times in the atypical/far condition are as short as those in the easiest typical/near condition).
