A two-tailed Fisher’s exact test, comparing convulsive and subconvulsive stimulations, did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.12), but the odds ratio was 3.46 (95% CI 0.71 to 18.27) suggesting that a patient was more likely to have an episode of asystole after convulsive rather than subconvulsive stimulation.
