Despite these inherent constraints, transfer of human NLV-specific T cells led to prolonged survival, which was modest at very high initial virus burden and did not reach statistical significance ( Fig 7A ) but was highly significant (P < 0.001 by log-rank test as well as by Gehan-Wilcoxon test) at a moderate, more realistic, initial virus dose ( Fig 7B ; see Discussion ).
