In general, a significant trend in pooled HPV infection rates (all types) across age groups was not observed in Māori women with histologically-confirmed high grade disease, although younger Māori women tended to have a lower relative prevalence of HPV 16 and/or 18 and a higher prevalence of other oncogenic HPV types compared to older Māori women.
