Discussion The results of this pilot study, to introduce ocular thermography in the diagnosis of acute uveitis in horses and compare this method with a more practically feasible method of ocular thermometry, suggest that uveitic eyes are markedly warmer than non-uveitic eyes (>2°C), however the difference did not reach statistical significance.
