Patients with gadolinium-enhanced lesions or meninges on MRI had less risk of death during follow-up than patients who had no such lesions on MRI at presentation (HR, 0.20; 95% CI: 0.06–0.67; P = 0.009), as did patients with ABRA (HR, 0.17; 95% CI: 0.02–1.33); however, only a statistical trend was observed ( P = 0.09).
