The hESC-CVP, hESC-CM, and hBM-MNC groups showed a trend toward smaller scar sizes compared with the non-cardiac group, but this did not achieve statistical significance (10% ± 3.1%, 9.7% ± 1.2%, 9.7% ± 1.5%, and 14.1% ± 2.8% of the left ventricle for the hESC-CVP, hESC-CM, hBM-MNC, or Non-Cardiac group, respectively) ( Figure 3 B).
