Of note, transient second degree atrioventricular block was seen after clonidine in both groups, namely, 1.0 ± 1.0 (of 8.7 ± 8.7 s duration) and 3.7 ± 2.4 (18.5 ± 13.5 s) episodes in ETB-deficient and wild-type rats, respectively; these differences (between groups) did not reach statistical significance.
