The prevalence of RVFV antibodies was higher (21.1%, n=12/57) in animals born before or during the epidemic period in 2006–2007 than in animals born after the epidemic (16.1%, n=5/31), but this difference did not reach statistical significance ( χ 2 =0.312, P=0.312).
