In the Spanish population, the prevalence of these genotypes was 40.4, 48.0 and 11.6% for FF, Ff and ff, correspondingly ( 42 ). In the present study, BMD values in all the participants at either site were higher in ff genotype although the difference did not reach statistical significance.
