By using the Haploview software, we found that the frequency of the haplotype CCAACC (rs2336384-rs2295281-rs17037564-rs2236057-rs2236058-rs3766741) was obviously higher in the hypertensive cases (44.8%) than in the normotensive controls (41.2%), but it did not reach statistical significance (p=0.075).
