In univariate analysis, patients whose tumours had high CIN25 gene expression scores had an increased DRFS (HR: 0.74, 95%CI 0.54-0.99, p = 0.046) when treated with E-CMF compared with patients treated with CMF alone (Table 1 ); a similar association was seen with respect to OS, although this did not reach statistical significance (HR: 0.76, 95%CI 0.56-1.05, p = 0.095).
