was shown to exist between RAGE expression and microvessel density in human endometrial cancer samples; (iii) RAGE knockdown was effective in decreasing microvessel density in xenografted tumour models; and (iv) Kaplan-Meier analysis and log-rank tests for overall survival revealed that RAGE levels showed a trend for poor overall survival (Additional file 2 ), but no significant difference was observed ( P = 0.167).
