Antenatally, depression was more common among the small group unsure of the effectiveness of ART for PMTCT although this did not reach statistical significance (Table 2 , p = 0.06), while postnatally it was more common among the 29 % (63/217) unsure of the effectiveness of neonatal prophylaxis, and the two-thirds (146/219) who worried that prophylaxis might harm their baby (Table 2 ).
