From the genes belonging to the Notch pathway, lin-12 (Notch) and sel-12 (PEN-1/2) are not available in the RNAi library, pen-2 (PEN2) knockout levels showed no effect on CB55, aph-2 (Nicastrin) consistently worsened the phenotype, and aph-1 (APH1), going back to the initial screen, scored on top of the cutoff for worsening the phenotype and thus did not carry on for further analysis, nevertheless showing a clear trend for half of the gamma secretase complex.
