Whilst the RIGHT trial showed a trend to more and earlier use of thrombolysis [ 20 ], reduced neurovascular damage related to treatment with GTN might reduce the need for other interventions such as intra-arterial interventions or therapy; a hint of this was seen in ENOS-early where there was a trend for less physiotherapy in patients randomised to GTN [ 40 ]. 5.
