Adolescents who consumed the highest percentage of energy from Tier 4 foods and “other” foods (non-compliers) had the highest intakes of potatoes (0.44 ± 0.0321) compared to those in the lowest quartile (compliers) (0.26 ± 0.02269) (p-trend <.0001); this was similar to children even though the trend did not reach statistical significance (p-trend = 0.1046).
