In the current study, wild-type fibroblasts showed a trend towards decrease in the maximal OCR within 30 min of 1 mM PQ treatment which was preserved in the Surf1 −/− fibroblast. t -BuOOH and H 2 O 2 did not result in any changes in basal OCR, maximal respiration, or reserve capacity.
