Although a slight trend was evident in our data (i.e. the positive disturbance effect on biodiversity indicators was more pronounced for non‐salvaged forests), it was not significant in our comparison of 38 observations on salvage logging with 145 observations of unsalvaged disturbance effects ( P = 0.205).
