46 – 49 Small sample size may have contributed to the fact that the difference between aspirin and placebo did not reach statistical significance; however, these results demonstrate that there is no benefit against pregnancy loss conferred by aspirin, as shown in the study conducted by Schisterman et al. 50 Therefore, our findings do not support the use of aspirin in patients with RM.
