We found a strong trend towards a reduction in the intensity of GAD67 staining in PV interneurons in adult MIA offspring ( Figure 3K&L ; GAD67 Mean Intensity (A.U.): Saline, 704.6±86.85, n=7; MIA, 518.2±37.32, n=7; t-test, p=0.07), suggesting that physiological changes in GABA synthesis may contribute to the deficit in GABAergic transmission from PV cells in MIA offspring.
