Interestingly, subcutaneous delivery of a miR‐21‐3p inhibitor in mice tended to reduce acute UV‐induced inflammation as indicated by a reduction in UV‐induced Il6, Ptgs2, and TNF‐α levels in the epidermis, although comparison with the control‐treated epidermis did not reach statistical significance (Fig 5 C).
