After the multivariable regression analysis ( Table 3 ), the LAV% of the untreated ipsilateral lobe, the volume of the untreated ipsilateral lobe to volume of the hemithorax, the predominant type of emphysema, the presence of pleural adhesions, and the residual volume were variables that were independently associated with pneumothorax, adjusting for the target lobe; the 6-MWT and the fissure integrity were borderline non-significant.
