Discussion In this prospective study of young adults, we found an eight per cent net increase over a ten-year period in self-reported rhinitis and nasal allergies, a borderline significant decrease in the prevalence of wheeze in the last 12 months, and an increase of Dr diagnosed asthma and waking up with shortness of breath in the last 12 months.
