In contrast, regarding adverse maternal outcomes, our results showed that Cesarean section, gestational hypertension and preeclampsia exhibited increasing incidence as glucose levels increased from the screening negative group to the NDDG-GDM group; however, the findings did not reach statistical significance in the CC-only-GDM group after adjusting for confounding factors.
