Statistically significant benefit in overall survival was present in fluorouracil monotherapy (HR = 0.71; 95% CI: 0.61–0.83; p <0.0001) and oxaliplatin based chemotherapy regimens (HR = 0.83; 95% CI: 0.74–0.93; p = 0.001), while the results for irinotecan based and capecitabine regimens did not reach statistical significance.
