For both M1 and S1, success rates were lowest when the stimulus was applied up to 60° before the peak of a spike (ie, 300°–360° in Fig 5 C lower panels), but the overall differences of these distributions did not reach statistical significance (M1: p = 0.13; S1: p = 0.29).
