Specifically, we observed that the Pure PSP group obtained significantly higher scores in school anxiety than the Non-Perfectionism group, confirming Hypothesis 1b, except for the results for Factors III (Social Evaluation Anxiety) and IV (School Evaluation Anxiety), whose differences did not reach statistical significance (supporting Hypothesis 1c), and contradicting previous literature on the model, which had mainly found support for Hypothesis 1a ( Gaudreau and Thompson, 2010 ; Franche et al., 2012 ; Crocker et al., 2014 ; Hill and Davis, 2014 ; Mallison et al., 2014 ; Méndez-Giménez et al., 2014 ; Gaudreau, 2015 ).
