While changes in mGluR5 dimer expression in control rats between the developmental stages did not reach statistical significance (F 2,16 = 2.549; p = 0.114), post-hoc analyses combining the PCP and saline groups showed a significant reduction in mGluR5 dimer from PN12-PN35 (p < 0.001) followed by an increase from PN35-96 (p = 0.021) back to PN12 levels. mGluR5 monomer expression in the PFC showed unequal variances between the groups (F 5,27 = 20.022, p < 0.001) thus was analysed using non-parametric analyses.
