The second hazard model was estimated only for observations related to interval sterilization and suggests that the risk of female sterilization is 62% lower [(0.38–1)*100] among WLHIV compared to WNLHIV with a parity of 3 or more (p = 0.011) and 56% lower among those with 1–2 children (p = 0.072), although the last association was only marginally significant ( Table 3 ).
