Unlike the effect of anisomycin on C/EBP, neither 3.3 μM nor 10 μM anisomycin during the inactive phase produced significant increases in the expression of CREB1 or of CREB2, with respect to expression after treatment with ASW, although both concentrations produced moderate increases that approached significance ( Figure 9A , and legend – note that the bars are normalized to expression after ASW, which is 100%).
