However, OS showed a trend toward an advantage in elderly patients with exon 19 deletions (22.4 months) in comparison to those carrying exon 21 point mutation (15.1 months); in spite of the apparently large difference, the result was not statistically significant (HR 0.79; 95%CI 0.34-1.82; p = .53).
