Serum HCY concentrations were numerically higher in male dogs (n = 23; median, 56.7 μmol/L; IQR, 33.6–75.4 μmol/L) than in female dogs (n = 31; median, 35.8 μmol/L; IQR, 29.5–52.5 μmol/L), but the difference did not reach statistical significance ( P = .0643).
