Whilst the changes in workload approached significance, unlike peak VO 2 , this suggests that response to CRT leads to specific gains in isometric strength in the upper limbs measured by HGS, and this may also translate into more generalized improvements in skeletal muscle function, demonstrated by increase in workload in the lower limbs.
