Other adverse effects that did not reach statistical significance, but were substantially increased when additional treatments were added, were over-excitation (35% vs. 15%), upper aerodigestive tract complications (33% vs. 18%), shivering and fever (9% vs. 3%), and tracheitis (32% vs. 26%).
