Rats that had received vehicle showed significant discrimination between the novel and the familiar object in the RG108 experiment ( t 7 = 2.83, p = 0.025) while in the 5AZA experiment vehicle-infused rats were able to discriminate between the two objects but this did not reach statistical significance ( t 11 = 2.14, p = 0.06).
