Furthermore, postmenopausal women without HT showed a trend towards fewer MED12- mutation-positive leiomyomas than premenopausal women; however, we observed a similar, yet weaker, trend also with mutation-negative tumours, but due to the limited sample size no conclusions can be drawn.
