Thus, there was a statistically significant association between the Aggressiveness index, as an expression of tumor aggressiveness, and the Liver index, as an indicator of liver function.’ Furthermore, we examined the trends in the relationships between the Liver Scores and the individual components of the Aggressiveness Index ( Figure 2 ) and found that for each of MTD, PVT, multifocality and AFP, there was a significant trend between the Liver Index score and the tumor parameter measures.
