In comparison with our previous evaluation of third trimester phthalate levels and sexual maturation in males in this same population [ 17 ], estimated associations for first and second trimester exposure also indicated reduced odds of adrenarche (PH >1) with phthalate exposure, although associations did not reach statistical significance.
